Reverent One:
A Curate seeking to be a reverent reclaimer of the art of worship through light painting, oil work, digital device repurposing and iconography. As a Messenger in the MessAge, I strive to prevent idle worship, through an exploration of the boundaries of art and technology, of video projection and traditional painting, of framing and sculpture. In my work, the influential movements of conceptualism, futurism, surrealism, and post-secularism converge to provide context for continued dialogue regarding the relationship between image and idea, science and spirit, object and idol, truth and love; to both make and remake meaning in our ever changing, and yet seemingly never changing world.
